Phoenix creates webpage to help those facing foreclosure
The City of Phoenix is taking steps to help people faced with foreclosure of their homes.
The city has established a new website to offer help for everyone.
“Hopefully, this website will prevent more foreclosures,” said David Ramirez of the Neighborhood Services Department. “Hopefully, it will propel peole to take action.”
Ramirez added, “We’ve got a home start program, for example, that offers eligible home buyers help. They can receive up to $40,000 toward the purchase of a home that was constructed or rehabilitated by the city.”
Ramirez said the webpage includes information about free services for those who need them.
